Do you want to build meaningful relationships while making a difference in a child’s life? Would you enjoy providing dedicated 1:1 care instead of managing multiple patients in one shift?

Join our team as a pediatric Homecare Nurse and help your clients grow and thrive in the comfort of their homes.

Schedule 


We offer full-time, part-time, PRN schedules, and weekend package options. While we have specific current needs, we also provide flexibility to find a schedule that works for you.

Current needs

  • Ankeny, 9-year-old, 8am-8pm Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Occasion need for Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

  • Altoona, 6-year-old, 6:45am-4:45pm Monday-Friday
  • Des Moines, 5-month-old 12 pm-12 am, 7 days per week. 

  • Des Moines, 4-year-old 6 am-6 pm Monday-Friday

  • Des Moines, 17-year-old, 7:45 am-4:45 pm Monday-Friday  

 

Benefits


Full-time roles are eligible for health benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, and a 403b retirement account with a company match. 40 hours of paid time off are frontloaded and start accruing immediately.  

Part-time roles are eligible for select benefits, including paid time off and retirement with company match.  

What You'll Do  

  • Serve as the sole provider of a full range of nursing services as defined within the nursing scope of practice, physician’s orders, and the client specific care plan.

    • You’ll never be sent to a home unprepared! All staff receive in-home, client specific training with another nurse prior to working alone in the client home. 

    • Clinical support from experienced nurses is available during all operating hours.

  • Communicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with all members of the client care team to assure assigned child’s care needs are assessed, communicated, and met. 

  • Provide training to clients, families, and staff as needed to help advance the skills and knowledge of all people associated with a child’s care delivery.

What You'll Need  

  • Current valid license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Iowa

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.

  • Documentation of current CPR/BLS certification

  • Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing and speaking the English language
