Job Description

Nansemond Suffolk Dentistry is looking for a friendly and organized Dental Front Office Assistant to become part of our committed team in Suffolk, VA. Our top priority is delivering outstanding patient care within a friendly atmosphere. As the initial point of contact for our patients, you will have a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience. Your duties will involve appointment scheduling, maintaining patient records, and assisting with billing inquiries. We provide competitive pay between $16 and $27 per hour, creating an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about dental care to develop and excel in a supportive team environment. Responsibilities:

Welcome and assist patients upon their arrival at the dental office in Suffolk, VA.
Efficiently organize and maintain the office calendar by scheduling appointments promptly.
Thoroughly verify dental insurance benefits and accurately process insurance claims to support patients.
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly answering phone calls and emails from patients.
Safeguard patient records, ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information is maintained at all times.

Qualifications:

Must have exceptional skills in providing top-notch customer service to patients.
Proficiency in efficiently handling patient appointment scheduling and billing procedures is required.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities are a must.
Knowledge of dental insurance processes is essential.
Candidates should possess US Work Authorization and have availability for both full-time and part-time positions.
