Summary

We are a Christian-based, family-oriented daycare/preschool. We have three different classrooms. We keep children from the age of 6 weeks to the age of 6. One of our biggest challenges is finding the perfect person that wants to have fun while they work plus be a multi-tasker (potty training, changing diapers, teaching, cleaning, etc.) We do put in a lot of hours. Our environment is drama-free. We thrive for teamwork. We have to work together in order to provide the best care that each child needs. If you cannot go a couple of hours without your phone, please do not apply. If you cannot commit to 7:30am to 5:30pm (Monday thru Friday), please do not apply. (As long as I know in advance of a day you need off, I can make it happen.) If you want to work in a place where you can have fun, play with kids, teach kids, and gain more family, please apply!

Duties

Caring for children.
Maintain a clean environment for children.
Ensure a safe and secure environment for children.
Ensure a healthy environment for children (including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards)
Actively engage in activities with children.
Create and follow a curriculum.
Help with potty-training, diapering, feeding, cleaning, sanitizing, etc.
Follow all center policies and state regulations.
Be a team player!

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to pass a drug screening at hiring plus once a year.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be available to work Monday through Friday.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be energetic.
Must be able to work well with others.
Must be able to lift some kids. (Diaper changing tables do have steps to help get the children to the changing area)
Must be able to follow cleaning responsibilities. (Washing and sanitizing toys, bathrooms, kitchen, classrooms, etc. Vacuuming and mopping floors.) And anything else that needs to be cleaned.
Be a team player!
Must be able to watch kids and prevent accidents.
Must be able to follow dress code. (no uniforms, just conservative)
