Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, logistics, and compliance with food safety standards, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining a high level of efficiency, quality, and safety.

• Oversee and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet production and distribution demands.
• Implement inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, performance reviews, and resolving operational challenges.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork among employees.

Logistics Coordination:

• Manage the receiving, storage, and shipping of raw materials and finished products to meet production and delivery schedules
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure the timely availability of materials.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, including HACCP, FDA, and local health and safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety training and audits to maintain a safe working environment.

Process Improvement:

• Develop and implement warehouse procedures to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Analyze workflows and identify areas for efficiency improvements.

Equipment and Facility Management:

• Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensure the facility meets hygiene and sanitation standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry. | | | | | | | 
• Proven track record of managing a team in a high-volume environment.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, WMS).
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications:

• Forklift certification (preferred).
• Food Safety and/or HACCP certification (a plus).

Work Environment:

• This role involves working in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to temperature variations, noise, and moving machinery.
• The position requires standing, lifting, and moving materials regularly.
