T ool Room Helper

Position Summary

Responsible for executing helper duties to assist assigned crew.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain a log or system for tracking the movement and location of tools

• Repair, tag, or replace broken tools

• Inspect extension cords and power cords for broken wires, cracked insulations or other damages

• Replace broken handles of hammers, shovels, and similar tools

• Track tools on a day-to-day basis as they are issued

• Monitor shortages or lost tools

Qualifications

• Entry Level

• Industrial construction/maintenance industry experience preferred
