Seco Tools is looking for a motivated and results-driven Regional/Territory Technical Sales Professional for the Pasadena, TX area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the oil industry, with a proven ability to drive growth and expand market share. Experience in technical sales is highly desirable, and a solid understanding of the oil and gas sectors will be key to success in this role. The ideal candidate should also have a growth-minded approach, with the ability to forge new relationships and manage existing client accounts effectively. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, as the role may involve working with a diverse client base in both English and Spanish-speaking markets. Territory Sales Professional / Technical Sales Engineer Role Requirements This is a regional territory sales role requiring 5-7 years of proven successful territory or regional sales experience in a technical, consultative, solution-oriented sales role, with proven experience in the manufacturing or distributor focused sales environment working independently from a home or virtual office environment. This role requires a strong background in territory sales skills with experience and strong technical aptitude in a manufacturing environment where product application solutions are required in a distributor and end user environment, especially in oil and gas and general engineering. (optional but preferred). Strong skills in qualifying, demonstrating and influencing customers are critical for success. Travel (75-85%) within the region is required to manage the territory requirements and engage, qualify, develop, support, and secure new business for Seco Tools’ cutting tool solutions with new and existing end user customers and through distributor channel partners.
