Join Team CARFAX as a Software Developer Intern

As a Software Developer Internin the Enterprise Services Internal Applications Development Team, you'll work with a fantastic team of software engineers to put real code into production to create high quality software solutions that keep our business running. You will get the experience of utilizing the latest in AWS cloud technologies and software development frameworks. You’ll be working alongside Software Engineers, QA Specialists, and business stakeholders to get a real taste of what the industry has to offer.

On our team, everyone participates in the full software development lifecycle—from gathering customers’ requirements to coding, testing, and promotion to production.

At CARFAX, we believe in the power of teamwork and value in-person interactions so that we can collaborate and thrive together. This position will require 3 days per week in our Centreville, VA office, subject to change with future business needs.

We're looking for upcoming developers passionate about things like:

• A high-level language such as Java or Python
• Front End languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript
• JavaScript libraries such as React
• Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. We primarily use AWS.
• SQL or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or DynamoDB
• Working in a collaborative environment where everyone on the team contributes to solutions
• Continually learning and improving your skills

Requirements:

• Experience working in a collaborative team environment
• Experience solving problems with code
• Ability to work in the Centreville, VA office three days a week
