We believe that true progress stems from the fusion of innovation and values, and that's exactly what you'll find here – a dynamic environment where your talents will thrive, your ideas will flourish, and your impact will resonate far beyond. Join us in rewriting the narrative of leadership and making a lasting difference that echoes through generations.

Role Overview:

As the Social Media Manager at SOULCHI, you will be responsible for managing and growing our social media presence across various platforms. You will craft engaging content, respond to audiences with the voice of our brand, and ensure that each platform's unique audience is effectively engaged. You will work closely with the marketing and video teams to deliver creative, high-impact content while maximizing the effectiveness of our social media campaigns on a limited budget.

This role requires superb writing and communication skills, an understanding of social media algorithms and platform metrics, and the ability to collaborate with video editors to produce content that resonates with our audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Architect:  Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy, crafting a digital footprint that aligns seamlessly with SOULCHI's mission and goals. This includes planning, curating, and executing campaigns that amplify key initiatives and foster engagement across multiple verticals
  • Content Maestro:  Create and curate engaging content for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Weave stories that spark conversation, connect with our audience, and reflect SOULCHI's mission and values.
  • Performance Virtuoso:  Monitor and analyze social media metrics using platform-specific insights and third-party tools. Decipher key performance trends, track campaign results, and dynamically adjust strategies to ensure optimal impact and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Relationship Weaver:  Build and manage relationships with influencers, partners, and stakeholders within vibrant digital communities. Amplify SOULCHI's brand through meaningful collaborations and ensure sustained engagement and reach.
  • Content Collaboration:  Work closely with video editors and content creators to produce engaging visual content, from short-form videos to infographics, that support key campaigns and initiatives. Ensure video and visual content aligns with our social media goals.
  • Content Calendar Management:  Plan and manage a content calendar that ensures timely, relevant posts across all social media channels. Ensure content aligns with key initiatives, campaigns, and events.
  • Maximize Organic and Paid Reach:  Creatively promote initiatives within a limited budget, combining organic content strategies with low-cost paid campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Sponsored Posts) to increase visibility and drive results.
  • Trend Trailblazer:  Stay at the forefront of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices. Ensure that our content remains relevant, engaging, and effective by adapting strategies to emerging trends and evolving platform features.
  • Be the Voice of SOULCHI:  Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across platforms in a timely and professional manner, using your superb writing skills to represent the brand with clarity, consistency, and authenticity. You will be the “voice” of our social media channels.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of social media management experience , with a strong track record of creating and executing social media campaigns that drive engagement, particularly for tech, education, or nonprofit sectors.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills  – the ability to craft compelling, clear, and engaging content across different social platforms while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Proven ability to manage social media communities  and respond to both positive and critical interactions in a professional and timely manner.
  • In-depth understanding of social media algorithms  (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) and platform-specific best practices to ensure content reaches the right audience and generates results.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools  such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, InShot, or similar. Ability to collaborate closely with video editors to produce content that aligns with platform guidelines and audience expectations.
  • Experience with social media management tools  (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.) and analytics platforms to track, analyze, and report on social media performance.
  • Creative mindset  with the ability to generate new ideas that stand out in crowded social spaces and work within tight budgets.
  • Strong understanding of social media advertising  (e.g., Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Sponsored Content, Twitter Ads) and experience optimizing paid campaigns for maximum impact within budget constraints.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics  and translate that information into actionable insights to optimize future social media efforts.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills , with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for social impact  and a deep interest in promoting causes related to global change, education, and social justice.

Equity-Based Compensation Opportunity:

As part of the SOULCHI team, you'll take part in our equity-based compensation model, aligning your success with the success of our business. After much research we have found the fairest equity model for a startup. We use the Slicing Pie model. First phase is equity-based only, which we are currently in. Equity calculations move dynamically based on your fair market rate and actual number of hours worked. In the second phase, which happens at the break-even point, the equity freezes at each member's current earned percentage and compensation switches to salary + benefits. Your equity percentage gets paid out annually as part of the profit sharing. This is more than a job; it's an opportunity to own a piece of the future.

We request you only apply for this position if you believe an equity-based model is the perfect fit for you. A more detailed explanation from the professor who created the model can be found on Youtube, "Pie Slicer Equity Split Software" by Slicing Pie.

We understand the importance of work-life balance and recognize that each individual has unique scheduling needs. As such, we offer flexibility in working hours for the Social Media Manager (Equity-Based) role, with the opportunity to work anywhere between 15 to 40 hours per week, depending on the candidate's availability and suitability for the role.

Thank you for considering SOULCHI as your future employer.

How to Apply:  To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your alignment with our mission and the value you can bring to our team. Join our passionate team and be part of a transformative journey to spread virtues, create social impact, and contribute to a more loving and peaceful world. Together, we can harness the power of technology to bring the truth of oneness to the center of societies worldwide.
