Job Description

SEO Specialist Location Grand Rapids, MI :

Responsibilities:- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving organic search rankings- Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, and on-page elements, to improve search engine visibility- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console- Develop and implement link building strategies to increase website authority- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are followed in content creation- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and algorithm updates to continuously improve SEO strategies- Track, report, and analyze website analytics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of SEO efforts- Provide recommendations for website improvements based on SEO analysis

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 2 years of experience in Search Optimization OR Master's Degree and 0-2 years of experience in Search Optimization OR equivalent work experience
• Customer-facing role requiring direct client consultation and management
• Local Search Optimization Experience
• Strong written and communication skills Preferred Attributes & Qualifications
• Google Analytics Certification
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-direction and ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
• Basic understanding of technical architecture and web design
• Understanding of internet and mainstream information technology concepts, search engine optimization best practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
