OSG is looking for a dynamic individual to join our HR team! 

 

Our ideal candidate must be able to continuously manage multiple requisitions simultaneously, ensure timely completion of hiring, and adherence to OSG standards while demonstrating strong organizational ability, task management, and strong communication skills.

Our Recruiter requires a strong understanding of recruiting, sourcing, external job boards, scheduling, conducting phone screens, virtual interviews, extending job offers, and submitting background checks, while having a passion for finding the best talent for OSG! Building strong internal relationships with Hiring Managers will be a key driver for success.

As part of this unique role, you will play a key part in driving the growth of our organization by building a strong talent pipeline, developing recruitment strategies, and collaborating closely with hiring managers to meet staffing needs. Will be a leader to enhance employee onboarding and have opportunities to support HR projects that will contribute to our overall culture here at OSG.

On-site position; 5 days a week – Carol Stream, IL

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the human resources team, internal, and remote managers to understand hiring needs
• Thoroughly communicate with hiring managers and HR on status of open positions, candidate quality, and candidate pipeline
• Partner with managers to provide a welcoming and positive candidate experience
• Conduct phone screens, interviews, and schedule candidates
• Proactively source qualified candidates utilizing various channels, including job boards, social media, and industry contacts 
• Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accuracy of organized documentation and time to fill metrics are being met
• Display an elevated level of discretion regarding compensation and background checks
• Work with cross-functional with various departments to develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates
• Facilitate onboarding efforts and coordinate scheduling for new hires and new managers
• Partner with operations team to coordinate hourly recruiting efforts to support on site operations as needed
• Participate in process improvement projects with the HR team as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of Recruitment or Talent Acquisition experience
• Strong understanding of labor laws and best practices in hiring
• Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, Power point, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills to work seamlessly with other departments
• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment software, preferably ADP Workforce Now
• Exemplifies a sense of urgency, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changing priorities
• Demonstrates active listening, shares information concisely and purposefully, and remains open to different perspectives
• Able to travel to other site locations if needed

Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000
