Office Assistant/Data Entry Clerk
We are seeking a responsible individual with excellent communication skills and critical thinking skills. The ideal office assistant/data entry clerk will prioritize the quality of their work and be eager to assist staff members. In this in-person, full-time position, the office assistant/data entry clerk will perform clerical tasks, assist all staff members, complete data entry by both typing and scanning information, assist donors, and lift and move boxes of files, supplies, and merchandise.
Office Assistant/Data Entry Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
Protect confidential and private information
Assist the office staff and perform clerical duties
Enter data accurately
Respond to and fully satisfy donor inquiries
Transfer data from paper to digital format
Handle numerical data accurately; create, organize, and maintain spreadsheets
Assist in the preparation of reports, meetings, presentations, data, and mailings
Receive, unpack, and store or distribute incoming deliveries and prepare and send outgoing shipments
Prepare, log, move, and store or send to off-site storage boxes of files and records
Lift and move boxes of files, supplies, and merchandise
Office Assistant/Data Entry Clerk Requirements and Qualifications
Eager to assist staff members
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent critical thinking skills
Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize
Ability to prioritize quality of work
Prior experience in handling office and data entry responsibilities and/or possesses transferable skills
Accurate and fast typist
Accurate and precise attention to detail
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness to learn and grow with the organization
Understands data confidentiality principles and follows them to the letter
Hours and Setting
Weekday, daytime hours in The BackStoppers' office with offsite events, evenings, and/or weekends on occasion as needed.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $43,680.00 per year
