Nurse Practitioner – Trauma Surgery (High Pay Range)

Qualifications:

• NYS licensed/registered NP with a specialty in trauma or emergency medicine.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a Level 1 trauma center.
• CPR, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certification required.

Duties:

• Manages trauma patients from initial assessment to post-operative care.
• Performs emergency procedures such as chest tube insertion, central line placement, and intubation.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, including X-rays, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
• Assists in trauma surgeries as first assist.
• Works closely with emergency physicians, surgeons, and critical care teams.
