Verona Pharma is looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team, reporting to our West Field Medical Director. In this role, you’ll establish and grow Verona’s presence within the medical community, facilitating meaningful relationships and advancing our mission to improve the lives of patients with respiratory conditions.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of Verona, its products, and current medical/scientific research within the respiratory space.
• Establish Verona’s Medical Affairs presence by building valued relationships with thought leaders and the broader medical community.
• Represent Verona at scientific and medical events within your geographical area.
• Deliver compelling medical/scientific presentations to internal and external audiences.
• Gather and share insights from interactions with healthcare professionals to inform internal strategies.
• Provide support at professional meetings and congresses by collecting insights, developing tools, and presenting approved data.
• Respond to and document unsolicited scientific information requests related to Verona products.

What You’ll Bring:

• Advanced degree (Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D.) required.
• 2+ years of related work experience (clinical, managed care, or industry experience).
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with thought leaders.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, especially in regulated environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Adherence to all regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%, including some weekends; valid driver’s license required.
• Residency in California required.
• Successful completion of pre-hire drug test
