We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an IT Development intern who will primarily focus on developing a solution that will solve a pressing business need in the Technology Organization.
YOUR TEAM. We are expanding our Information Technology Development team with an IT Development Intern for the summer of 2025. This internship offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment, providing hands-on experience with real-world projects while receiving mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals.
YOUR ROLE. Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To - Work with a team to identify operational and technical requirements
- Build their application using modern software development practices
- Work with the Development team with any needed front-end and back-end coding
- Check in code to DevOps repository
- Develop documentation (both by commenting their code and providing operational guides) in addition to any other identified artifacts that should be built
- Perform unit testing of code and record the results
- Transition their product and its related documents to the QA team
- Triage operational bugs/issues and identify areas for code remediation once running
- Potential focus areas include: data analytics, building applications, modernizing workflows and scripts, document management
Your Experience. The successful candidate will have: - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Programming and modern software development skills
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Familiarity with Agile development techniques
- Familiarity with Microsoft Business Platforms (SQL Server, SharePoint, Office, etc.)
