Job Description: Augmentjobs is seeking motivated detailoriented individuals for the position of Generalist Summer Analyst in Investment Banking. This summer internship provides a comprehensive experience in investment banking offering exposure to a variety of sectors including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) capital markets and financial advisory. As a Generalist Summer Analyst you will support senior bankers in executing transactions conducting financial analysis preparing presentations and assisting with due diligence processes. The internship provides handson experience mentorship and the opportunity to work with a team of professionals in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial models and presentations for clients
Conduct industry and company research to support transaction execution
Help analyze financial statements and create valuation models
Participate in due diligence processes and assist in preparing reports
Work closely with senior bankers to support deal execution across multiple sectors
Maintain uptodate knowledge of financial markets and trends
Education Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting or a related field
Strong academic performance (preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher)
Experience Requirements:
No prior professional experience required but previous internships in finance or related fields are a plus
Interest in pursuing a career in investment banking or finance
Skills:
Financial modeling proficiency
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Word proficiency
Attention to detail and accuracy
