Your Future Role


Join us as a Field Service Engineer, based in Camden, NJ, and embark on a career-defining journey. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining quality assurance processes, conducting inspections, testing products, and recording and analyzing results related to the Camden Operations and Maintenance facility. Reporting to the QA Manager, you will ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards while monitoring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of product output. Your meticulous attention to detail, expertise in quality processes, and knowledge of measurement and test equipment (MT&E) will be pivotal in this role.

Key Responsibilities and Challenges:

  • Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies, and completed work according to established criteria using standard visual, physical, mechanical, and electrical measurements.
  • Conduct and document process and system inspections using Work Orders and written procedures.
  • Collaborate with technicians across all three shifts, guiding them in QA/QC standards.
  • Evaluate issues and provide initial recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Work with management and QA to offer feedback to technicians on the accuracy of maintenance procedures.
  • Review historical records and documentation for compliance with established procedures and documentation practices.
  • Promote safety awareness and ensure that technicians comply with proper PPE and workmanship standards.
  • Develop safe working objective standards to support technicians in their daily O&M job activities.
  • Contribute to the serviceability and reliability of the system, making recommendations for hardware and procedural changes based on performance data analysis and reports.
  • Support the QA Manager in reviewing and editing maintenance procedures, manuals, work instructions, and process specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the heavy maintenance industry; an Associate’s Degree and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Documented history of related experience.
  • Must possess effective communication skills in English for safety reasons.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 10%).
