### What You'll Do:
As a Part-Time Controller, you'll serve multiple nonprofit clients, managing their financial needs and helping to transform their accounting operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the outsourced Controller/CFO for nonprofit organizations
- Producing financial reports for management and Board presentations
- Recommending and implementing improvements to internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Managing day-to-day transactions like accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general accounting
- Analyzing data and providing insights for budgeting and forecasting
- Overseeing grant management, funder reporting, and compliance
- Preparing for and managing annual audits
- Providing training for clients and staff
### What You'll Bring:
- Passion: A genuine interest in working with nonprofit organizations.
- Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with 5-7+ years of accounting experience. Previous work in nonprofit accounting or public accounting is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with QuickBooks or other general ledger systems.
- Communication: Strong ability to manage multiple clients, work independently, and communicate effectively.
- Preferred: CPA certification and bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
