Urologist - Chief of Urology, Salt Lake City Veterans Affairs Medical Center

This faculty member will serve as an Assistant, Associate or full Professor and be responsible for high-volume clinical activity within the realm of urology at the Salt Lake City Veterans Medical Center. He or she would work 50%-80% in this capacity balanced with clinical work or research at the University of Utah. Multiple specialty focus could be possible at both clinical sites, such as Oncology, Reconstructive Urology, or Endourology. This faculty member would be expected to develop a strong regional program focused upon the urologic care of veterans. On the educational front, this faculty member will be responsible for teaching residents state of the art care, practice and patient-centered behavior. This will include didactic lectures and one-on-one teaching in both the clinic and operating room settings. We would expect this faculty member to also educate staff members on best care of the problems seen within the clinic. Administratively, this urologist would manage administrative functions related to urologic care within the VA system at the Salt Lake City Veterans Medical Center.
