Johns Hopkins University has developed an ambitious vision to continue to integrate life design, experiential learning, and mentoring in the academic and co-curricular learning experience for all students and postdoctoral fellows. At the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (BSPH), the Career Services Office?s mission is to help students make a powerful impact on public health by connecting to opportunities beyond the classroom through enhancing career/professional development engagement, coordinating experiential learning experiences, engaging with public health employers and alumni.
Reporting to the Executive Director, we are seeking a Career & Life Design Coach (MPH Students)who will provide comprehensive career education, professional development, and life design principles to BSPH graduate students. The Career & Life Design Coach (MPH Students) will develop scalable programs and interventions that engage students in life design, experiential learning, alumni and employer connections, and skill development.
The Career Services Office has modernized our approach to be 100% virtual. We expect that our work can be done from anywhere to scale our impact and make services more accessible across the institution. For this model to work, the ideal candidate must be comfortable with co-working and flexible work arrangements and can
present excellent relationship development skills and engage audiences virtually. Must also be comfortable leading programs and interventions with groups and enjoys developing relationships and connections with multiple stakeholders. This position will use social media and digital outlets to engage various audiences and increase impact and accessibility.
