Bookstore Associate

Location: Spanish Fork, UT

Status: Part-time

Hours: Monday – Friday; 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Pay / Salary: $12.36 / Hour

Summary

As the Bookstore Associate, you will assist with shipments, orders, purchases, and interoffice mail. The Bookstore Associate plays an essential role in helping MTECH students receive a quality education by ensuring that students and faculty have access to the educational materials they need when they need them.

What You’ll Do:

Responsibilities of the Bookstore Associate include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor and document all incoming shipments and prepare interoffice mail for delivery to MTECH campuses.
• Process instructor orders for materials required for class instruction and ensure items are stocked in the store.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and fulfill orders accurately and on time.
• Assist customers with their purchases.
• Be willing to cover other shifts or work at different Bookstore locations as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and place orders to replenish stock as necessary.
• Participate in all required meetings and training sessions.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in computer usage, including ten-key.
• Experience with database management, data entry, and maintaining records in written or electronic formats.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas and information clearly and fluently in English.
• Capable of following written and verbal instructions and adhering to applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills to manage diverse responsibilities effectively.
• Physically able to lift 50+ pounds.
